We really enjoyed our one night stay here. It doesn't look like much from the outside but the rooms are very comfortable and quite attractive. The owner also takes care to leave bottles of water, juices and snacks in the rooms, all complimentary which is a really lovely touch. There is a little room where you go and prepare your breakfast and then you can either eat in your room or outside in the terraced area. You also get complimentary cinnamon buns from the cafe next door :)

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. The beach walk and shops were literally across the street. We will stay here again!

Recommend it for couples looking for a cozy getaway
So we were treated to free cinnamon rolls each morning from the café nearby. Talk about a tasty start to the day! And every evening was amazing, sitting on the patio watching the nice sunset over the harbor, it reminded me of magic.
Not gonna lie, it wasn't exactly a bargain, but for the experience, it was worth it.

Staff was great. They went out of their way to accomadate us. Free water and sodas in the room refridgerator. Excellant view of the harbor and Morro Rock. One of the cleanest rooms I have ever been in. Carpets freshly shampooed and everything in the bathroom cleaned with bleach. All bedding, bed comforters included, washed daily. In the mornings they have fruit, coffee, tea, cereal and such included with your room. The secluded patio area in front of the rooms have tables and chairs and also a glassed area for sun bathing. Very clean all new paint great stay. Great bargin. Location is right on the embarcadero near food and stores. Access to the beach is just to the north of the motel. Morro Rock and harbor are right in front. No hills to climb up or down to reach the harbor and beach.
Rooms are slightley on the small side but the extras provided by the staff make up for this.

The location of the hotel is excellent, across the street from the water, and Morro Rock is a nice place to view Falcons, other wildlife, and surfers. They give you a coupon for a free cinnamon roll for breakfast at a nice restaurant in front of the hotel.
No one mentioned that there is a large power plant with three very tall smoke stacks next door. Why they decided to spoil such a beautiful place by locating the power plant so closely to Morro Rock is incomprehensible.

We visited the local wineries on a wine tasting excursion and took a scenic cruise in the back bay. The place was clean, quiet, and so close to everything. Loved the cozy atmosphere and the friendly staff! Highly recommend strolling to the bakery next door.
The only downside was that the rooms were a bit smaller than we expected. It felt cozy but tight when we were all together.

The Bayfront Inn was so close to the docks and the Morro rock. Staff was so friendly and provided extra treats at the Galley. The room was very clean and we had a view of the rock.
I was disappointed to see the lack luster look of the Inn. It was tacky from the outside and had a restaurant in the front that cranked up the fans about 5:00 A.M. for breakfast.

Location and staff. Staff was very helpful and extremely nice. The hotel is located right in front of the morro, the water and near restaurants andshops.
A bit noisy, because the walls are not that thick. When the guests in the upper room walked we could hear them loud and clear. The same when some water was turned on.
